Borussia Dortmund manager Peter Bosz admits upcoming Champions League opponents Tottenham have a beastly player in Davinson Sanchez.
Bosz knows all about the Colombian from his time at Ajax, where the centre-back played under him last season, and has heaped praise on the 21-year-old for his physical strength and tireless work ethic.
"What surprised me was that he played the final of the Copa Libertadores last year, which he won," said Bosz, as quoted by talkSPORT.
"And without any vacation he came to us (Ajax) and after one week he played. He played the whole season. He was never injured.
"He always worked hard in training and I think he became a better player since he came to us, especially with the ball.
"Without the ball, he is a monster. He is strong in the air, he's fast. With the ball, in Ajax, we had a certain way of playing which he had to adapt to.
"I think he progressed and I saw him playing against Everton and he did well.
"He is a good player, even though he is still young."
The BVB are preparing to take on Spurs in their Champions League group stage opener on Wednesday at Wembley Stadium.
